We have a room for rent in a beautiful house just off Brunswick Street. We are just a couple living together, previously with another couple, but they have moved out so we need to replace them.
The house is fully furnished. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house and you will have your own Bathroom. The 3rd room is kept as a spare room. WIFI is available throughout the house also, a s well as a Laundromat literally 20 meters from our front door in case you need to use the dryer, a bottle shop 35 meters from our front door and a supermarket just over the road from that. It’s the perfect location. Also very close to Trams for Brunswick Street and at the other end of the street is Nicholson Street.
I am a 33year old Australian male and girlfriend is Irish and is 29 years old. I work away FIFO on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster, so I’m hardly ever there and my girlfriend works in the city.
It’s not a party house by any means, but we both love a drink and having friends over to charge up before hitting the Brunswick street bars. We both travel the world quite a bit, love socialising and meeting new people.
So were looking for someone similar to be our new house mates who clean up after themselves and can pay their rent on time. The room is available on the 6th of November and we have just signed a 6 month lease which we have the option to extend beyond. Applications will be subject to approval from the landlord, the bond will be $1738, and the rent will be $325 per week. Bills will be extra and we will split them evenly.
