We are looking for someone to move in to this beautiful, spotless, perfectly located 2 storey house in Fitzroy. I am a 33year old Australian male and my girlfriend is 29 years old and from Ireland. Our housemates have bought their own apartment so are moving out on Nov 5th.
I work away FIFO on a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster and my girlfriend works full time in the city. We both love music, going to festivals and gigs, catching up with friends and travelling.
It’s not a party house by any means but it is an ideal spot for having a few friends around before heading out on Brunswick Street/Smyth Street/Gertrude Street...wherever!
The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a 3rd room that can be used for guests to stay in, as an office and/or simply for storage. It tends to serve all these functions usually. The kitchen is clean, neat, fully-equipped and great to cook in. There is a washing machine in the house and a fantastic laundromat just 20 metres from the front door. We are a stone's throw from several good coffee shops, 2 great supermarkets and plenty of pubs.
The space is perfect for either a couple or someone looking to rent by themselves. Our 2 main criteria would be that you always keep the place (the communal areas really) clean and tidy and that you can pay your rent on time. Easy!
The room is available on the 6th of November and we have just signed a 6 month lease with a view to almost definitely extending. Applications will be subject to approval from the landlord. The rent and bond prices are mentioned above with bills not included. Bills will be split evenly.
